THREE STOOL

This is a collaborative project that I worked on with two design partners, Charlotte Kennedy and Xiaolu Wu. We set out to build a minimalist stool from Western Maple that would use no fasteners and the least amount of material as possible. We sat down with a pile of stir sticks and a glue gun, and pumped dozens of sketch models until we stumbled upon a design we all liked. From there we made many full size iterations playing with various different forms. In the end we ended up with our Three Stool that weighs 4.9lbs and has no fasteners
