SUTIL coffee table
This table was brought to life through a process of allowing the natural stone to dictate its form. I had a rough idea of what I was going to create, but it wasn't until countless hours of searching for a stone that I stumbled upon this one and knew exactly how the form would take shape. Letting the materiality dictate the form enables honest outcomes that are true to their inherent properties. The mass of the stone allows for unique base that would not be possible without this mass anchoring it in place. The stone serves as both the foundation and the surface. If this piece inspires, please reach out, as this concept can be scaled to any size, whether it's a dining table or a large gathering table for the hospitality or restaurant space.
