Custom desk

This desk was designed for a home office that would suite the client’s needs as an interior designer. Everything was considered from the drawer sizes, pull locations, and monitor height. The small drawer on the left for pens and pencils can be opened while they are seated, unlike most desks, where one has to move out of the way of the drawer in order to open. The centre less accessed drawer is to dock laptop that is connected to monitor on cantilevered shelf. The bank of drawers on right is for papers, felts, etc, and file folders in bottom drawer. Even the drawer pulls are positioned closer to the seated centre for ease of use. The laptop drawer is well vented out the back to prevent the computer from overheating, and all wiring is hidden in recessed wire channel in back of the cantilevered monitor shelf.
